# Direct URL

Direct URL helps you to redirect a user into correct context of a conversation. It's very useful to set as Call to Action for various Social Media or Online Advertisements. If you would like to include it in SMS promotions then you can use a link shortening service like <https://bitly.com/>

You can get the direct link of any smart reply questions by clicking the Link icon as shown below.

**A popup window will open as shown below;**

Click the text box and the direct url will copy into the clipboard, now you are ready to use the direct url in your SMS & Social Media Campaigns.

### Smart Reply QR Code

The Smart Reply QR Code feature allows businesses to generate a QR code for any configured Smart Reply keyword. When customers scan the QR code, they are automatically redirected to the corresponding WhatsApp chat with the Smart Reply keyword pre-filled in the message box. This eliminates the need for customers to manually type keywords and helps businesses capture leads quickly and efficiently

#### Benefits

* Makes it easier for customers to initiate conversations.
* Helps capture leads directly from offline channels such as exhibitions, brochures, flyers, posters, and business cards.
* Improves customer engagement by providing a faster and more convenient way to access Smart Replies.
* Serves as a more user-friendly alternative to sharing Direct URLs.

When you click the **Direct URL** button for a Smart Reply keyword, the **Direct URL** page opens, where you can find the **QR Code** option. Clicking **QR Code** generates a QR code for the selected WhatsApp channel.

When a customer scans the QR code, they are automatically redirected to the corresponding WhatsApp chat with the configured Smart Reply keyword pre-filled in the message box. Once the message is sent, the associated Smart Reply response or action is triggered.

A unique QR code is generated for each WhatsApp channel, ensuring customers are directed to the correct WhatsApp number and conversation associated with that channel.

The generated QR code can be **downloaded** as an image or **copied** directly to the clipboard for easy sharing. It can be printed on brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, exhibition banners, product packaging, or any other marketing material, allowing customers to quickly connect with your business on WhatsApp by simply scanning the QR code.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.pickyassist.com/setting-up-guide/smart-reply-v2/train-module/direct-url.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
