Porting WhatsApp Number to Picky Assist

If you are using a WhatsApp number from another BSP or directly through WhatsApp Cloud API then you can port the number to Picky Assist fully managed WhatsApp Services in a few simple steps

Scenario 1 - Porting from another BSP

If you have a number that is already connected to another BSP then you need to follow the below steps before porting the number to Picky Assist

Login into your Facebook Business Manager / Business Suite then navigate to WhatsApp Accounts and click the number you wish to migrate as shown below

Then click on Settings (Gear Icon) as shown below and go to More select "Two Step Verification" as shown below and Turn off two-step verification as shown below

Select the More Button

Turn Off the 2-Step Authentication

✅ Done - Now you are ready to Migrate the number to Picky Assist, Login into your Picky Assist account, navigate to Settings -> Channels & Complete the onboarding as per the steps mentioned here

Scenario 2 - Migrating from WhatsApp Cloud API to Picky Assist

This is the scenario where you have directly connected your WhatsApp number to the WhatsApp Cloud API and linked your credit card with Meta as a payment option. In this case, you must complete the previously mentioned step and then take an additional step to clear all pending payments before you begin the migration.

From your Meta Business Suite Click the Left Side Menu and Click on Billing & Payments as shown below

Then Click on WhatsApp Accounts select the Account and click on Pay Now to clear the dues as shown below

✅ Done - Now you are ready to Migrate the number to Picky Assist, Login into your Picky Assist account, navigate to Settings -> Channels & Complete the onboarding as per the steps mentioned here
