Create and Connect Your First Whatsapp Catalog

This guide will walk you through the process of creating your very first catalog in Picky Assist and linking it with your WhatsApp Business API.

Before you begin, make sure that:

  • Your WhatsApp Business API is already connected with Picky Assist

  • You are logged into your Facebook account in the same browse

Step 1: Open All Menu

From the Picky Assist dashboard, navigate to the left-hand panel, scroll down, and click on All Menus.

Step 2: Go to Catalogs

A list of options will appear. Under the Commerce section, select Catalogs. This will open the Catalog Menu.

Step 3: Create a Catalog

Click on Create Catalog. 1. If this is your first catalog, you’ll see the button in the center of the screen. 2. For additional catalogs, use the blue Create Catalog button at the top-right.

Step 4: Select Channel

From the dropdown menu, select your desired channel.

Step 5: Reconnect Meta Account

When you choose WhatsApp Business API, you’ll be redirected to reconnect your Meta account. Click Reconnect and follow the Meta permissions setup.

Step 6: Grant Page Access

Choose the Pages you want Picky Assist to access: 1. Allow access to all current & future Pages, or 2. Restrict access to only selected Pages. Click Continue to proceed

Step 7: Grant Business Access

Select the Businesses you want Picky Assist to access: 1. Allow access to all current & future Businesses, or 2. Restrict access to only selected Businesses. Click Continue.

Step 8: Grant WhatsApp Account Access

Now, select the WhatsApp Accounts: 1. Opt-in for all current & future accounts, or 2. Restrict to the current one only. Click Continue after making your selection.

Step 9: Confirm Access

You will now see the Picky Assist access request. Click Save to finalize your settings.

Step 10: Connection Confirmation

A confirmation message will appear showing your account is successfully connected. Click Got It to continue.

Step 11: Catalog Details

Enter a name for your new catalog. 1. Tick the checkbox to link the catalog with your WhatsApp Business Account 2. Tick the checkbox for WhatsApp Business API so the catalog is visible in the selected channels.

Step 12: Create Catalog

Click the Create Catalog button to finalize.

Step 13: Success Message

If everything is set up correctly, you’ll see a success message confirming that your catalog has been synced successfully.

That’s it! Your first catalog is now live and connected with your WhatsApp Business API through Picky Assist.
