Business Verification

Business verification is a mandatory step to enable full WhatsApp API functionality. There are two ways to complete the verification process in Meta Business Manager, both leading to the same outcome.

From Security Center

Instructions

  • Navigate to Security Center

  • Scroll down to the bottom and click n start verification

  • Click Start Verification

  • Enter:

    • Business Name

    • Address

    • Website

  • Upload required documents

  • Submit for verification

Accepted Documents (Examples)

  • GST Certificate

  • Udyam Registration

  • MSME Certificate

  • Business PAN

Check Account Quality

Account quality is an important factor that determines the health and reliability of your WhatsApp Business Account. It reflects how well your messaging activity complies with Meta’s policies and directly impacts your ability to send messages. Monitoring and maintaining a good quality rating helps avoid restrictions, warnings, or account bans. There are multiple ways to check your account quality within Meta Business Manager.

From WhatsApp Manager

Quality Rating Meaning

High → Good Medium → Warning Low → Risk

Remove Number from WhatsApp

Instructions

  • Open WhatsApp / WhatsApp Business

  • Go to Settings → Account

  • Click Delete My Account

  • Enter phone number

  • Confirm deletion

Wait 24–48 hours before reuse

Remove Existing Partner

Instructions

  • A popup will appear click on the remove access

  • Confirm action

Create / Access WhatsApp Business Account (WABA)

Instructions

  • Enter:

    • Business Name

    • Display Name

    • Category

  • Complete setup

Retry Onboarding (Embedded Signup)

Instructions

  • Complete signup

  • Verify using OTP

  • Select issue

  • Submit request

OTP Troubleshooting

Instructions

  • Ensure correct number format &#xNAN;(No +, no spaces)

  • Try:

    • SMS OTP

    • Voice OTP

  • Retry later

Check DND/SMS block Contact telecom if needed

Remove Partner from WhatsApp Business App (Coexistence)

Instructions

  • Open WhatsApp Business App

  • Go to Settings → Account

  • Select Business Platform

  • If any connected platform is present it will be show

  • Below that there will be a Tap to disconnect option

  • Click on that, another screen appears where there will be a Disconnect button

  • Click Disconnect

  • Confirm
