# Migration from 3.0 to 4.0 Platform

Guide to migrate your Picky Assist account from 3.0 to 4.0 platform

## Picky Assist 4.0 is the Future - It's Time to Upgrade

In July 2025, we introduced **Picky Assist 4.0**, our next-generation platform with a completely upgraded server and infrastructure architecture designed to support better performance, reliability, scalability, and future innovations.

V4 also brings a wide range of new features and improvements that are not available in our legacy platform.

You can watch an overview of the new features and capabilities in Picky Assist V4 here:

**Picky Assist 4.0 — What's New**

{% embed url="<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TbOudGPCf4>" %}

After more than eight years of serving customers, the original Picky Assist platform, launched in 2018 and now referred to as **Picky Assist 3.0 / Legacy**, is scheduled for retirement.

We are now beginning the final migration process from V3.0 to V4.0

## Who Needs to Migrate?

If you are an existing Picky Assist customer and you currently access your account through:

[**https://pickyassist.com/app**](https://pickyassist.com/app)

you are using the **legacy V3 platform** and need to migrate to V4.0

If you are already using the V4 platform, **no migration is required**.

{% hint style="warning" %}

## ⚠️ Important

Please complete your migration and all required integration updates **on or before December 10, 2026**.

After December 10, 2026, API requests and webhook requests using the old V3 endpoints will no longer be automatically routed to V4.

The V3 servers will be permanently shut down on **December 23, 2026**.
{% endhint %}

## How to Migrate from V3.0 to V4.0

The migration process is simple and can be completed directly from your Picky Assist account.

#### Step 1 — Log in to your Picky Assist account

Log in using your existing Picky Assist account.

#### Step 2 — Open the Migration Page

Once logged in, open:

[**https://pickyassist.com/app/profile/my-profile\&migrate=1**](https://pickyassist.com/app/profile/my-profile\&migrate=1)

#### Step 3 — Complete the Migration Steps

Follow the instructions displayed on the migration page and complete all the required steps.

The migration generally takes approximately **5–30 minutes**, depending on the size and configuration of your account.

{% hint style="warning" %}

### ⚠️ Important: WhatsApp Web Automation

Before migrating, please check whether you are currently using any **WhatsApp Web Automation channels**.

Picky Assist V4.0 **does not support WhatsApp Web Automation channels**.

If you are using this channel, please review your setup before proceeding with the migration. You can make use of the [WhatsApp Co-existing](/setting-up-guide/connecting-channels/connecting-whatsapp-business-app-mobile-app-coexistence.md) solution
{% endhint %}

## If You Are Using the Picky Assist API

If your application is integrated with Picky Assist through our API, you need to update the API base URL.

#### Old V3 API URL

`https://pickyassist.com/app/api/v2/push`

#### New V4 API URL

`https://app.pickyassist.com/api/v2/push`

#### What changes?

Only the **base URL** needs to be changed.

There are **no changes to the API request or response data structure**.

Your existing API integration should continue to work after updating the endpoint.

#### Deadline

Please update your API endpoint **on or before December 10, 2026**.

> Until December 10, 2026, requests sent to the old V3.0 API endpoint will automatically be routed to V4.0. However, this automatic routing will be discontinued after December 10, 2026.

## If You Are Using Connectors or Webhooks

If you have configured a **Picky Assist Connector or Webhook** with a third-party application, Chatbot, Funnel, or Workflow, you will need to update the connector URL after migrating to V4.

#### What do you need to do?

1. Identify all active Picky Assist connectors and webhooks currently configured in your integrations.
2. Complete the migration from V3.0 to V4.0
3. Open the corresponding connector/session in V4.
4. Copy the **new connector URL** provided by Picky Assist.
5. Update that URL in the respective third-party application or platform.

#### Important

Until **December 10, 2026**, requests sent to your old V3 connector URL will automatically be routed to V4.

However, after December 10, 2026, this automatic routing will stop.

If your third-party application is still using the old V3 connector URL after this date, **webhook requests will fail**.

Please make sure all connector and webhook URLs are updated by **December 10, 2026**.

## Will There Be Any Downtime During Migration?

The migration is designed to happen without significant downtime.

However, depending on your account configuration and messaging volume, there is a possibility that **a small number of messages may be delayed or missed for a few seconds during the migration process**.

If your account handles a high volume of messages, we recommend performing the migration during a period of **low messaging activity**, such as:

* Late night
* Sunday
* Other periods when your messaging volume is low

This will help minimize any potential impact.

## What Happens to My Existing Subscription?

You **do not need to purchase a new plan immediately** just because you are migrating to V4.

Your existing plan will be migrated to the V4 platform.

You can continue using your current plan until its existing expiry date.

Once your current plan expires, you will need to subscribe to one of the plans available on the current V4 pricing structure.

If your plan has not yet expired, you may also renew it before the expiry date and continue using Picky Assist according to the applicable plan and pricing at that time.

## What Happens to My PayPal or Razorpay Subscription?

If you have an existing subscription created through **PayPal or Razorpay**, no action is required from your side.

Your existing subscription will continue to work as usual.

## What About the Chrome Extension, Zoho CRM, Zapier and Mobile Applications?

We have updated versions of our supported applications and integrations for Picky Assist 4.0

This includes:

* [Google Chrome Extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/picky-assist-40-whatsapp/gjjnbihoifndhddjomoadeliemppjomn)
* [Zoho CRM integration](https://marketplace.zoho.com/app/crm/pickyassist-whatsapp-for-zoho-crm)
* [Zapier integration](https://zapier.com/mcp/picky-assist)
* Mobile Application - [Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pickyassistcrm\&pcampaignid=web_share) | [iOS](https://apps.apple.com/in/app/picky-crm/id6745926152)
* CallBlaze - [Android SIM Call Tracking ](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pickycallblaze.callblaze)

### <mark style="color:$danger;">After migrating your account to V4, you need to install these applications to continue working. If you do not install them immediately, it will stop working</mark>&#x20;

## What Happens to My Existing API and Webhook Integrations Before December 10?

You do not need to update everything on the same day you migrate.

Once your account is migrated to V4, Picky Assist will continue automatically routing requests received through the old V3 API and webhook endpoints to V4 **until December 10, 2026**.

This gives you time to update your third-party integrations.

However, **December 10, 2026 is the final deadline**.

After that date, the automatic routing will be discontinued.

## What Happens After December 10, 2026?

After December 10, 2026:

* Old V3 API endpoints will no longer be automatically routed to V4.
* Old V3 webhook/connector URLs will no longer be automatically routed to V4.
* Integrations still using V3 endpoints may stop working.
* All required V3 → V4 integration updates must already be completed.

The V3 servers will then be **permanently shut down on December 23, 2026**.

## What If I Experience an Issue After Migration?

If you experience any issues after migrating to V4, please contact our support team.

When contacting us, please include:

* A clear description of the issue
* A screenshot, if applicable
* A screen recording/video, if possible

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.pickyassist.com/general-guidelines/migration-from-3.0-to-4.0-platform.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
